The first step in getting certified, is to make sure you have all the pre-requisites for the exam complete! - Dr. Randy Moore

Considering becoming a certified sonographer?

The thought of taking an exam again is always daunting, but with MSK Masters - we help you prepare in a concise, easy-to-understand way that make the learning process a breeze! We've helped hundreds of our students prepare for and pass the examination... while not just getting them certified, but helping them to become a leader in musculoskeletal ultrasound with their peers and more.

What do I need to do?

The first step in getting certified, is to make sure you have all the pre-requisites for the exam complete! Depending on your profession and scope of practice, you have two options for certification.

  1. RMSK. The RMSK certification is administered by the APCA, and has several pre-requisites that must be completed first. You can learn more about those here: https://www.apca.org/certifications-examinations/registered-in-musculoskeletal-sonography/musculoskeletal-sonography-msk/

  2. MSKS (RMSKS). The MSK certification is administered by the ARDMS. You can learn about the pre-requisites for this exam here: https://www.ardms.org/get-certified/rmsks/musculoskeletal-sonographer-msks/

How do I make sure I'm prepared for the exam?

Here at MSK Masters, we pride ourselves on being the industry leader in musculoskeletal ultrasound training. We provide MSK ultrasound training courses that will help set you apart in your profession, along with giving you the upper-hand when diagnosing your patients and providing treatments.

You can learn more about our course offerings here. And to help provide a little more context, we offer courses in smaller bite-sized portions if you'd prefer to focus on just a specific region (Upper or Lower Extremities for example) - or we offer complete packages, such as our MSK Ultrasound MasterClass (which includes all of main courses).

Regardless of which option you choose, or may be interested in... remember, we are here for you! Simply reach out if you have any questions at all!
